Minnesota Hackle is a family owned and operated genetic hackle farm located in southern Minnesota. We have worked hard to develop a unique line of genetic hackle to meet all your fly tying needs. We offer three grades of feathers. The difference between grades are in the quality, the number of feathers, and the amount of webbing. On our saddles we leave more of the webbier feathers at the base which are excellent for freshwater streamers and saltwater wings. Minnesota Hackles capes and saddles have less trimming done to them than our competitors. This gives you the broadest range of feathers, at no extra cost. The professional fly tiers have been very pleased with the performance of our feathers. We know you will too!
